The Sphere Turning drilling and Routing Jig is a universal design for use on many different woodturning lathes. It enables you to: 1. turn spheres quickly and precisely with a superb surface finish. 2. drill cross-holes of any specific angle and depth, quickly and precisely. 3. cut fantastic decorations including reeds, flutes and mortises.
	The bottom plate 4 is adjustable for different types of beds. It is a precision ground plate that includes a locking rotating disc 8 on a spherical bearing. The cutting cartridge 1 fits in to a holder on the linear bearing 3. The length of its shaft is tailor made for different centre heights. The angle of the cutter 2 can be adjusted for different diameters and types of wood.
	When cutting the left side of the sphere the cutter 2 is turned left with handle 5 and adjusted to get the finest cut. It is then locked in position with handle 6. The sphere diameter is adjusted by the feeder 7.
	When cutting the right side of the sphere the cutter 2 is turned right with handle 5 and adjusted to get the finest cut. It is then locked in position with handle 6. The sphere diameter is adjusted by the feeder 7.
