The Main Body 800 is the base piece of a faceplate for turning medium size work pieces. It can easily be completed with the optional faceplates Nos. 812, 813 or with others of larger or smaller diameters and varying thickness. Preferably home made wooden face plates can be used. They will require a 30 mm hole bored in the centre for location on the centre bit 809 and four holes to accept countersunk screws 810. The threaded centre of the main body can be used for number of applications. The M 16 thread can be used for the fitting of a Screw Chuck 802, Long Screws 804, 805, Spring Loaded Centre 803 and Wood Tap Screw Chuck 807.
By fitting four pin screws 811 combined with the spring loaded centre 803 you have an excellent drive centre with accurate repositioning. The anti loosening ring 801 prevents the faceplate from unscrewing when the motor is reversed. |
